Year One Drusillas Park Visit

On Wednesday 23rd May 2018, Year One went to Drusillas Park in Alfriston, because they had been learning about animals and how scientists can put them into different groups. It was a beautiful day when we set off in two coaches. When we arrived we were eager to see all the animals and learn even more about them.

During our visit we took part in a work shop about 'fur, feathers and scales.' and we were able to show the zoo keeper all that we had learnt about the different groups animals can be sorted into - mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians.

Finally, we enjoyed our lunch and a well deserved play in the park. Year One would like to thank all the adults who supported us on this trip.
